I’m Edwin Von Labja, a professional for a leading multinational insurance organization. I lead global initiatives that safeguard sensitive information and uphold operational resilience across complex, highly regulated environments. Operating in 20+ countries, I manage distributed teams and deliver executive-level guidance on protecting critical data at scale.

My work centers on building and maturing enterprise-level protection programs — designing strategies, controls, and processes that minimize risk without compromising business agility. I bring an automation-first mindset, leveraging next-gen technologies to streamline detection, response, and governance efforts across decentralized systems and endpoints.

Prior to my current role, I spent over a decade in the financial sector, including 10 years leading Anti-Money Laundering (AML) operations and business intelligence reporting for global institutions like the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) and ABN AMRO NV. I’ve managed C-level executive performance dashboards, led multi-region integration efforts post-acquisition, and architected regulatory solutions that resolved federal findings. My experience spans data governance, regulatory compliance, risk analytics, and technical system design — always centered on securing what matters most.

In parallel with my day job, I co-own Think Media LLC, a digital media studio producing cinematic YouTube content and 24/7 live streaming platforms. I’m also a USAPL Powerlifting Coach, former Airbnb host, and a lifelong learner who believes in building meaningful connections — whether through secure digital systems or compelling visual storytelling.
